Introduction
PcCalculator was designed to meet the
needs of both teachers and students at both high school and college levels.
Through many years of experience in teaching mathematics at both high
school and college levels, the author has seen that a judicious use of
technology as a tool would greatly enhance the effectiveness of
mathematics instruction and learning. This view is also supported by
research. Motivated by the power and usefulness
of technology in mathematics instruction and learning, the author has
designed PcCalculator, a handy tool for teachers and students, and many other
mathematics users in different areas of mathematics. PcCalculator is
not just a basic calculator. It is a scientific computational tool with
multi-functions: mathematical, graphical, statistical, transformational,
and exploratory.
